Hi
I get an error message
… /ss/mfcc/arctic_0001.mfcc: no such file
when running make_mfcc_list.
It seems to be searching for arctic_0XXX mfccs and not
arctic_a0XXX mfccs (which is how the filenames in /mfcc look)
make_mfcc_list uses utts.data as its source of filenames, so perhaps you have modified that?
Hi,
May I please know what exactly this does in step “Doing the alignment”?
make_mfcc_list ../mfcc ../utts.data train.scp
It runs without error (my output is attached), but I’m trying to make sense of it because my voice is messed up and I’m not sure what went wrong.
This script makes a list of the .mfcc files on which the forced-alignment HMMs will be trained. After running it, the file train.scp should contain the list of .mfcc filenames, corresponding to the lines in utts.data .

This is the new version. Still under construction.Copyright © 2026 · Balance Child Theme on Genesis Framework · WordPress · Log in
