Hi,
I tried to start an interactive GPU session for synthesis using:
qlogin -q gpu -l gpu=1 -l h_rt=0:30:00 -P ppls_ssgpu
but I got the following message:
Your job … (“QLOGIN”) has been submitted
waiting for interactive job to be scheduled …
Your “qlogin” request could not be scheduled, try again later
I wanted to ask whether this simply means that no GPU resources were available at that time, or whether there might be something wrong with my request or project settings.
Hi, I was using an interactive session and then my VPN dropped offline, so I was logged out of eddie, but when I log in back again after sometime, I could not go back to the same qlogin node to log out of it. Any advice?
From an Eddie login node, look for any running jobs using qstat and kill them using qdel

In general, it’s best to use a persistent remote session on Eddie, so you can simply reconnect to that if your connection drops. Your interactive session would still be running inside that.

This is the new version. Still under construction.Copyright © 2026 · Balance Child Theme on Genesis Framework · WordPress · Log in
