Got the notebooks on Notable(easy mode) and am trying to run them in interactive mode on OSX. When I put ‘jupyter notebook’ into the terminal I get the message below.
No localhost link, and unsure what this message means. Any thoughts?
jupyter notebook
The default interactive shell is now zsh.
To update your account to use zsh, please run chsh -s /bin/zsh
.

(base) maxs-MacBook-Pro:~ maxweisskopf$ jupyter notebook
I’m not entirely sure, but I think if you got the notebooks on easy mode, they’re only online, so they aren’t on your computer. If you’re using the terminal, it’s looking for files that ARE on your computer. So, I think if you want to use interactive mode from there, you’ll first need to install the notebooks the “Normal way”.
That’s correct – we solved Max W’s problem by completing the setup on the personal computer.
