Is there a way to quantify the evenness or zipfianess of a distribution? I have two phoneme distributions and I want objectively compare which one is more zipfian. Is there a way to do this, I can’t seem to find much online!
I think a visual inspection (plot both distributions, suitably normalised, on the same axes) would suffice for the purposes of the Speech Synthesis assignment.
