Hi everybody,
In the code run_lstm.py, before using the vocoder at GENWAV the mgcs a run through a postfilter.I heard STRAIGHT samples without the filter and there is a really big difference. I also think that the filter might be working better for STRAIGHT than for WORLD. The questions are:
Is the filter tuned for STRAIGHT?
And, are we measuring the MCD before or after applying the filter to the mgcs?
Thanks.
Yes, it is some what tuned for STRAIGHT (in fact, it started with STRAIGHT and extended to WORLD) and the parameters differ w.r.t sampling frequency of waveform generation.
We are measuring MCD before applying the filter. As the post-filtering results are stored in a different file with extension ‘.p_mgc’
