keyboard and hash tag

Hello,

I’m using mac and I can’t put # hash tag sign on the terminal (it takes me to other terminal window) nor the shell open with atom.

Could you help me please?

On my Apple keyboard, hash is Alt-3, even though the keyboard doesn’t show a # symbol on that key.

It’s not working only on VM..

Ask Matt Spike for help in configuring the keyboard mapping. For now, a workaround is to copy-paste an existing # symbol.
