Github for the course

I was trying to make a repository for sp folder in the mac so I can have the audios and some comments in a private repository. Nevertheless, this is not possible in PPLS computers… It says that I don’t have permission for make a git init… or git clone… is it any solution for that?

There is no point submitting audio for the first Speech Processing assignment. Is this what you are trying to achieve?

Because you are using a specific voice in the lab, all you need to do is provide the exact text and the audio is precisely reproducible.

Nop, basically to work at home after doing some work in the lab. For instance, Pratt and wavesurfer can be installed easily, so that analysis can be done at home instead on the lab…. and have a repository make it easier (instead of sending new data by email each time you go to the lab)

by the way is not something urgent at all… just curious why we can not use github in the ppls computers

git might not be installed (it comes with Xcode, which is not installed by default).
