Can we differentiate between synthesised speech and natural ones just by looking at the spectrogram or waveform or spectrum? If can, then how?
Yes, we can almost always tell. Look at some of the synthetic speech provided here
and see what you can discover for yourself. We can revisit this question after one or two lectures on speech synthesis – so ask it again then.
