When citing a book, we need to put pages where the information was found within that book. What is the best way to do it when using the numerical citations? (as in the template for Building unit selection voice assignment)
The answer is in the complete IEEE style manual (which I do not expect you to read in its entirety) that gives examples of how to cite a specific part of a work, including:
[3, pp. 5-10]
[3, eq. (2)]
[3, Fig. 1]
[3, Appendix I]
[3, Sec. 4.5]
[3, Ch. 2, pp. 5-10]
[3, Algorithm 5]
