ok, I get it – I’m connected to the VPN now, get the right IP (192….etc). Now when it asks for the atlab password it works, but asking for the scp1.ppls.ed.ac.uk password I get the same error (code 255)?

I’m getting [redacted for privacy] for both host and VM? Can’t see any of the numbers you mention above

How would I check if my host is connected to the VPN? Attached the results of the other 2 commands below (I used ctrl+C to interrupt the commands as I thought they would just go on infinitely – let me know if I should let it run)
